For a luxurious and premium finish, we use a breathable organic cotton / poly-blend 4-way stretch-knit (rather than a traditional weave) in a soft, natural color, and GOTS-certified by our supplier. Sourced from the United States, this durable textile is button-tufted by hand with wool yarn rosettes, which secure the cotton ticking and internal mattress layers firmly in place without the use of chemical adhesives. We also use hand-stitched tape edges (double stitched) and heavy-duty upholstered handles to complete the package.

It's also naturally anti-microbial, resistant to dust mites, and offers natural temperature control (to complement our natural latex). Our Joma New Zealand Wool's quality is some of the best in the world.

Built to last with a 20 year warranty and durable materials like 1600 individually wrapped coils in king and cal king with 15 gauge wire. Plus it supports 550lbs per sleeper (1,100lbs total).
The Avocado Green Mattress is GREENGUARD Gold Certified - and made with natural and organic materials, including 100% natural Dunlop latex from tree-tapped and sustainable sources; OEKO-TEK Standard 100 certified natural New Zealand wool; and GOTS certified organic cotton. Our non-toxic green bed combines the finest natural cushioning with an internal, zoned, pressure-point support system for proper back support and extended durability. We even make a new Vegan Mattress made without wool. The Avocado Green Mattress features an 8-inch support unit comprised of 756 - 1,414 individually-tuned support coils to ensure proper spinal alignment and balance. These fabric-encased innersprings (made from recycled steel) are arranged in 3 distinct zones with a reinforced perimeter to float independently and reduce motion transfer. Canadian customers in metropolitan areas can purchase the Big Fig for an extra $250 fee added at checkout, which covers customs and taxes.

Estimated delivery: 7-10 business days. Ships FREE via FedEx. The Bear Hybrid is constructed in and shipped from Wisconsin, US, so delivery times may vary depending on its final destination. The mattress is compressed, vacuum sealed and rolled into a box that is 45" x 20.5" x 20.5". We recommend that two people set up your Bear Hybrid mattress.
