A GOTS-certified organic cotton and GOTS-certified organic wool quilted cover that provides an additional layer of comfort and acts as a natural flame retardant. This mattress is button tufted, a time-honored technique that allows the layers of the mattress to be secured together without the use of adhesives.
A circular knit cover made with 64% Polyester, 20% Nylon, 13% Polyethylene and 3% Spandex. Polyethylene, which is known to help draw heat away from the body, thus providing a slight "cooling sensation" to the touch. Constructed using alternating nylon and polyethylene yarns. It is naturally hypoallergenic, dust mite resistant, and antimicrobial, which inhibits the growth of bacteria, mold, and mildew. With no worries about chemicals, and no tossing and turning, you will sleep more deeply and awaken ready for a new day.
With a cooling cover and a gel-coated memory foam top layer the Nectar Lush helps regulate temperature to stay cool and in a deep sleep. The top memory foam layer helps provide temperature regulation while you sleep. The PCM gel that has been infused into the surface of this component is known to: help draw excess heat away from the body and retain it in the component itself to help cool the sleeping environment to the optimal temperature Release any retained heat from the component back to the body to help heat the sleeping environment to the optimal temperature.

The Natural Escape is handcrafted with a responsive zoned pocketed coil spring system with enhanced lumbar support and a supportive edge. Tighter coils along the edges of the mattress provide a firmer seating edge. With proper support across the entire mattress you can sleep from edge to edge and top to bottom. Steel springs will last up to 4 times longer than a foam support edge. Individual coils react to body shape and weight to keep pressure off your bones and joints. The coils across the center third of the mattress have a heavier gauge wire and are nested closer together providing additional firmness to hold up the heaviest part of your body and properly align your spine. 13.5 gauge coils at the perimeter for a firmer seating edge, 15.5 gauge coils in the majority of the sleep surface and 14.5 gauge coils throughout the center third of the mattress for improved lumbar support. Each fabric-encased coil moves independently to allow deep sleep even when your partner moves. Latex is supportive and alleviates pressure points that can cause stiffness, pain, tossing and turning.
The Nectar Lush features an innovative memory foam with a higher density than what is found in traditional foam products. The increased density helps provide superior pressure relief for a plush, floaty rest.The top memory foam layer helps provide cushioning for the body at its most sensitive areas, like the pressure points. This is often described as the much-loved, traditional "memory foam" feel: softness, cushion, pressure relief, comfort, etc. The second memory foam layer, or the transition layer, is intended to help provide resistance against the body as you lay down on top of the mattress. If you were to jump onto your mattress, this layer prevents you from feeling the base support layer of foam. The base support layer is intended to provide solid support for the layers above it. It helps give structure and stability for all of the other components to perform as desired.
